The Red String of Fate:  Individuals are born with an invisible red string tied to their ankles that draws soul mates to each other.  The red string creates a bond between lovers destined for each other from the moment of their birth until their last dying breath, and sometimes beyond.  Anyone relationship that is not bound by this string is doomed to failure or last until your other half shows up.  Destined lovers will eventually meet because there's always this physical or mental connection with each other.  However, all of this can fall apart if the string was cut. 

Do you believe that?  I find it interesting...a common belief in some Asian cultures.
